Each week follows the same five-day structure to bring in decoding skills, grammar, vocabulary, and reading comprehension:
✏️ Multisyllabic Monday — Students meet the week's affix or root, spot it in real words, and break words into syllables.
✏️ Transformation Tuesday — Students combine word parts to form new words and see exactly how the meaning shifts.
✏️ Word Work Wednesday — Students find words with the morpheme in context and write the meaning of the word.
✏️ Think it Through Thursday — Students examine how the word part works in a sentence by sorting it by meaning, fixing grammar, and naming its part of speech.
✏️ Fluency Friday — Students read a short passage packed with the week's words, then answer text-based comprehension questions.
